Its all backwards from here Maz, i always said i'd never have one of these but a pal of mine just got a 2 door hard top and it does look impressive it has to be said.

Anyway apart from the initial lump this wont cost me anything to have for a couple months to say i had one, i might even see a few grand profit, few private people looking for these in the sunday classifieds, this one is ultra low miles and arguably the best colour combo for these, i recon if i put it up again before the end of the summer i'l probably get a couple grand on top.

It is a nightmare if you drop you a pickle out of a big mac on a light coloured seat, however as always i have a plan when driving this thing, i think im gonna eat in rather than eat in the car :)

It was a toss up between this car and a silver one with black leather that my favorite car dealer has got, but i think the black paint makes the car, so i ended up with the light leather. There just aint too many of these about to be super picky.

I still havent got my hands on it, tomorrow or tuesday it lands.

As for Mulsanne or Phantom its a the Mulsanne for me, but not until someone else had taken that first massive ass kicking hit of depreciation.
 
Still havent got it, the car coming from just outside Glasgow and iv had 2 let downs with transport, anyway sorted now its due Monday.

Room inside is ok for 2 in the back, Wills picture dosent show it to best effect.

The steering wheel is like a throw back to the old slim bakelite wheels of the Silver Shadow, but who cares, you dont need a thick chunky thing in this sort of car.

Interiors well i still like the Bentley Mulsanne even if the steering wheel is a bit gash, its no worse than the Rolls one.

The worst of all this is iv driven my mates hard top coupe a bit now and i dont like it, so this thing i bought will be going the journey as soon as it gets here, still at least i can say i tried it, its back to Bentley for me.

As for the man that wouldnt be seen dead in it, thats a bit harsh, anyway why not? Its no worse than a Lambo or a Ferrari for being noticed as far as i can see.

PM K you obviously the most researched man in this thread, better than me, go try a Bentley, seriously, they might not have that fine edged finnish of a Rolls but the drive is on a different planet.
 
Panamera went Monday that was a great car but bland like all German things it was the best at what it did but with no soul.

I got a man for the Phantom, at 2k more than i paid but by the time i get it here and tax it for him i think i earned 400 quid for my efforts P:)

Me Bentley back with the door fixed now, so thats me.

Jake i should have gone with ya dad but **** it done now.

You know how much a mile is worth in these cars, about 4 quid, thats ****ing indecent.

Mate im on anger management sessions with a shrink for anger management and prozak for whatever the **** and i cant take no more interventions because, well i just cant be arsed.

And whats happened to my Huf for mod signature, whos nicked that hmmmmm ?

His one even got the starlight headlining, thats something special to behold i tell you, loads of little fibre optic lights in the roof lining, never seen anything like it :)
 
See them stars on the headlining i parked up by the side of Putney bridge where you can park right by the river, where they launch the canoes from, seat back music on different gravy very nice indeed.

Every cars got a sunroof me and my cousin the designated driver was playing count the stars .

In this day and age of cars anything different is a bonus.

You shouldnt really compare RR and Bentley, its a throw back doing that from when they were competitors.

PM Keats is right the interior in the rolls is better, see that clock in the middle of the dash it revolves to show the i drive thing and the knob is in the arm rest, its great.

The umbrella thing in the door jams it even dries the umbrella if it goes in wet, theres a million little things that make the phantom special, the leather does seem better than the bentley gt, but not as i recall the mulsanne, that car is a flash back to the old days, the proper bentley days.

I tell you anothere good bit the way the ignition sucks in the key on the rolls, very neat that.

But its the drive, the bentley just ****es all over it if you ever want to boot it, see me i cant resist, i see a chav in a corsa, i cant resist it, i got to burn him off, in my bentley its a laugh, even the chavs laugh at the next set of lights, in the RR its not the same, they aint for me.
