tonnes of room, plus the guy driving doesnt actually get a choice how comfortable he is :p

I was once in the Rolls-Royce dealership on Berkeley Square and started chatting with someone who had come in to pay for a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. He was dropped off by his driver in the Phantom. He really enthused about the drive of the Phantom and said that wherever possible he'll drive it rather than be chauffeured!

That's not a Phantom :p

I think you will find thats the angle of dangle from the photo, look at the mat/foot area its huge thats before your feet even creep under the seats. I'm utterly confident its hugely airy back there despite never having seen one in the flesh or indeed sat in one.

its their rasion d'etre and as such a given

*puts neck on the line without even bothering to research*

I quite like how in your face this car is, I can certainly see the appeal. I just hope the rain holds off so you can actually drive it with the roof down!
I very much doubt you'd fit a phantom in a drive thru. They normally have quite tight angles and the phantom is about 20ft long :(
I just about managed it in a long ass 3.5T Transit and it was a bloody tight squeeze, I'd hate to attempt it in a Phantom! I guess having the cameras would help here however...

Indeed you can. However, I feel the more 'boutique' miniamlist opulence in the Rolls-Royce is a more contemporary choice than the attempt Bentley have made to mimic your Grandad's smoking room. As someone who is a self-confessed fan of large amounts of wood, I feel that the Mulsanne interior is just overdoing it a bit.Indeed, and it is not a handsome wheel. Very odd proportions and a BlackBerry-esque clicker wheel doing it no favours.
Yeah, I agree. Not really a fan of that Bentley interior at all. I think it's the dual armrests that really make it look like a VW.

As for the wheel scroller, the new BMWs have those too.

Some Lads hired a RR Phantom for a wedding. They were doing 90 over some speed bumps which are not too harsh, the kind of slope ones' and there exact words apparently where "check this, you can't even feel it."

This is according to the story my cousin told me.

Love the wood decking round the back. You sort of want a little spa in the back so you can sit on the wood and paddle your feet in the water :D

Gratz mate, but personally I prefer the hard top. Then again I am not really a fan of topless motoring anyway, bar Caterham, Ariels etc...

Does this mean we have call you Sir Mark??

Huge presence but not my cuppa. It's nice to own a variety of cars though. Enjoy it!
