I thought some people here would like to see what goes on in the world of extreme overclocking.

This isn't cheap or for the faint of heart, but it's hella fun! :D

If all goes well this could cool a Yorkfield processor to extreme speeds very soon!

I bought a Mach2GT for mucho cheapness, it needed a little work done to it but I was getting it modded so didn't matter.

Duniek head, modded with extra surface area at the base and ports up top.
Captube at 2.75m and soft soldered at accumulator. (high load slhx mod)
Blended gas
New probe and resistor calibration
New insulation, braid, etc.
Compressor Aspera T2140 1/2hp
DSH coil, new thin rear fan for clearance, set to 'turbo' fan speeds

Pulls down to -58c
At 200 watts it's sitting at -43c evap and reading -28 on the load tester probe
260w it's holding about -38c evap and -21c tester probe

Just waiting for my QX9650 to arrive now :D

Looks good weescott. Although you are waiting for your QX9650, have you put a Quad under it yet ? and if you have what sort of load temps are you getting under Orthos ?
