I was wondering as I am planning an ULTIMATE pc in a few months or so, how loud are these things?

Thanks

Daven

Edit: I suppose what I am really asking is I know they are similar to fridges, but could you sleep in a room with phase change on?
Also if anyone could make a sound file of their phase change and upload it, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

danfos nl11f compressor is almost silent..............run your fans @7volts and its no louder than watercooling or a quiet pc.

Yeah I build very quiet Phase Change systems that work much better then the Vapo LS or Mach 2. These are based around an NL11F compressor that works superb and is very quiet. I also use the Frpster controllers that allow full fan control so if you want em low you got it!

i am waiting to get one of unseen's controllers to try out on my builds, looks like a bit of competition for ssilencers g/froster.
daven, if you want a quote from me e-mail is in my trust.

Have a very modified and custom kinda Vapochill LS...fact nowt of it now is of a Vapochill at all more my spec hahahah

It's silent, i can sleep next to it and my pc runing quad prime all night long

Pending spec and build yeah and no and changing of fans easy but need to have the right amount of flow to cool the condensor and compressor

i just bought a phase unit of members market. havent used one before but need to give it a go.

had a look on the phase guide here as well as XS, any other good guides anyone could recommend?

As it has been said, the Danfrost units are shhhh preduly silent, nowt, zero, silent

Vapo gerrr is what ya get

Mach varis

So forth

how much power do these things take up? i.e. will it push my electricity bill through the roof running one 24/7 most days?

or more to the point how much more than a standard HSF, and how much more than watercooling!!

thanks
