Phenom 2 x4 925 overheating?

I playing some Minecraft today messing around on a server when I noticed that my CPU temperatures had hit 95c.
I let it cool down then tried some other games such as Skyrim and the temperatures hit 85c.


This isn't normal is it? suggestions?

Certainly not normal, you don't really want to hit over 60c, give your cooler a good clean and if that doesn't work remount it.

So I pop open the case an take a gander at my heatsink.
Never seen it this dusty before. Luckily I managed to clean it out before my compressed air stopped working very well. It's all good now. Idles around 36c and ran games at around 50c.

I feel pretty stupid now that I never thought of that now tbh :/
