Be playing around with my settings a bit and i cant seem to find what the stock voltage for this is supposed to be. Setting my mobo to auto for Processor and Processor-NB voltages sets them both to 1.3V, but a bug in the bios actually sets them to 1.28.

Ive read in several places that the 9950 can be clocked upto 3.0 without changing the voltage and changing the multi to 15x from 13x. And that their voltages were at 1.2v, so how come mine are that much higher?

And do you think i will be able to run mine on 1.28v (1.3V in bios) to get 3.0ghz off this on air?

Cooler - Zalman 9500 (NVidia green glow version)
Case - Thermaltake Armor - so plenty of air flow considering cpu idle is around 38-42C

Every chip is diffrent, even from the same batches....

give it a go and see what happens, i would think u would need a small bump to get that high, but my 5200 amd needs about .5 move volts to do 3.0 Ghz...
