hi guys i'm going to overclock my phenom II 940 as soon as my new cooler turns up so i started looking for tips so googled "phenom II 940 overclocking" and this was the first link i clicked http://www.techspot.com/review/142-phenom2-overclocking/page1.html and was a little worried about page 7 when it shows the Power Consumption, it say's the chips going to use 340w load, is that right and will my motherboard (asus m3n-ht deluxe) that say's 140w cpu support and new psu (OCZ StealthXStream 700w Silent SLI Ready) beable to cope i'm also getting 2 gtx260's

has anyone got the same sort of set-up as me if so what are you getting when overclocking do i really need 1.5v to get to 3600?

i'm going to be using a Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer cooler just incase you need to know :)

Mine is at stock every thing just, upped the multiplier to 18 and it's at 3.6 stable.

On a Assus M4A79 Deluxe

i was starting to think i had a dodgy chip, i can only get 3.2 out of it with stock cooler shouldn't be susprised really it looks exactley the same as the box cooler that come with my x2 6000

1 final thing i'm getting the 2 gtx260's and new psu on wednesday and having looked around the forums it looks like you guy's like corsair psu's so should i get the 750w or 850w version with the possabilty of adding watercooling and overclocking both cpu and gpus and i don't want power being the issue for low overclocks and instability
