Hi guys, I'm pretty new to everything here, and have recently set my pc up:
NewCase2-1.jpg

With Phenom II 955 BE cooled with frio advanced and HD6950 (Dirt 3), 8GB Corsair 1600MHz DDR3 Vengeance.
Case is running with two front intakes, two side intakes, and 3 exhausts (2 at top, 1 at back)

And the temps seem to be amazingly low (compared to my old case at least)

At the moment I have it running at 4ghz at 1.5v and it seems fine, after an hour of Prime95, it was sitting around 40 degrees.

Largely use it for gaming (Battlefield 3, Rift, Starcraft 2, Skyrim)

How far do you reckon I can push it? Should I change anything except Multiplier and Volts? Any other tips?

How are you reading the temps? if your using HW monitor, you should read the chip temp from the TMPIN0 or 1 reading, as core temps can be wildly inaccurate.

top end volts limit for air is 1.55v but most people on air stick around 1.5v just to be safe.
Max temps are 62c but again most people prefer under 55c

That's cool, figured I may be getting to the safe top end overclock with the chip.

I used cpu probe, overdrive and cpu-z (Edit: I meant Speedfan) for the temps just to make sure, they were all about the same (between about 40 and 45 iirc, def no where near 55 though)

Will start saving for intel swap or amd upgrade now then! ;-)
