Phenom II X6

Hi guys
have recently come into some money from selling some stuff. i have decided to upgrade some parts in my gaming pc. i have £140 to spend.

ive narrowed it down to two choices:

a phenom II x6 (i would get more ram but current MB only has 2 slots and they are full )

i buy a am3+ motherboard ready for BD, some more ram and a new processor cooler.

so which one would be the best option

ignore the hexcore, it wont do squat in gaming terms, better invest in an Am3+ board etc etc and wait for bulldozer to eventually arrive

If I was in your situation I would hold on to the money for the time being (I know it is hard to do) and wait to see what BD performance is like when released and then choose between BD or SB.

Yes, you will see a performance increase going for the X6 but unless your current rig is stopping you from doing something you need to do I would hold off from any upgrades or purchases.

I don't think that'll be in bulldozer territory fellas.... have a feeling they may be pricier for a decent chip.

ill be saving up for BD after i get the MB anyways. yeh they will probs be quite pricey but shouldnt be to bad given the fact that its AMD
