Been out of the loop for a little while so trying to work out the best bang for buck for up to £500. Already got a case, hard drives, DVD drives and a GTX260.
Any thoughts on the spec. below? I've not really seen many reviews of the motherboard and whether it's the best choice, only noticed that it has 6Gb/s SATA ports which could come in handy. How well will it clock thought? Also, unsure on the power supply, it needs to be powerful enough to drive the GTX260 and for any overclocking but how does it fair in terms of bang for buck or is there a cheaper alternative? Cheers in advance!
AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition 3.20GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail £135.99
Asus M4A89GTD PRO AMD 890GX (Socket AM3) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard £107.99
Corsair Dominator XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 16000C9D Twin3X (TW3X4G1600C9D) £118.99
OCZ StealthXStream 600w Ready Power Supply £59.98
Sub Total : £359.97
Total : £434.71
