Hi Guys,

I am looking for some advice, my son purchased a Phenom X3 8250e bundle the other day and when he runs CPU-Z-ID he gets the following results:-

Name: AMD Opteron 1382

Codename: Barcelona Brand ID: 2

Specification: AMD Phenom 8250e Triple-Core Processor.

Family: F Model: 2 Stepping: 3 Ext. Family: 10 Ext. Model: 2 Revision: DR-B3

So the question I am asking is it an Opteron or a Phenom X3

Your thoughts on this would be great.
