I placed an order this afternoon that contained 13 seperate items. 17 minutes later i receive an e-mail telling me that it has despatched! Are they employing Olympic atheletes in the warehouse these days or are they just serving very strong coffee? :D

Isn't it completly automated? I don't really know how these things work. :)

But the guys in the warehouse have to take the automatially generated picking list then grab them off shelves and put them alltogether in a big box :) I am assuming anyhow :)

Unless they've developed some impressive AI, I doubt an automated system would be able to do all the packing :s

Thanks. Our systems have been improved quite a bit over the last year or so to make despatch as quick as possible.

Yeah they always dispatch real quick and have always got stuff next day that was in stock, in fact they are the only company I have used that haven't delayed at least one of my orders.

Bit of a thread revival. But I gotta say. A few days ago I went to the place where they wear purple shirts, looking for a quick keyboard fix. It was 5 minutes to store closing so I bolted through the door.. Only to be told that they would not be serving me, due to them closing in 5 minutes.. I mean, fair enough I was only looking for a throwaway keyboard, but who knows, I could well have been looking for a scarily overpriced GFX card etc. Anyway, it proved to remind me why I generally choose to shop at OcUK. When I purchased my last brand new GFX card (an x800 from OcUK) it was faulty. I stopped off at OcUK on a bit of a whim, I really didnt want to wait for the RMA and was fairly close. When I walked in they were closing up (and here's the difference).. The guy at the desk had a look through my papers (he was a blonde guy with a distinctive tone) and then spent 15 mins sorting my order out. I walked out with a new card a good 15-20 mins after closing. I don't really agree with some of the spies personal views (on the board), but as a consumer I couldnt ask for much more (especially since the phone lines seem to have picked up). In-fact i've not really had a bad word to say about OcUK, and generally (competitor forums/in rl) i'm quick to air grievances. Word up.

Aye I've ordered from them twice and both times the delivery has been very quick. I ordered my asrock board from another online company as OCUK for some reason don't have it. A few days later I ordered the Processor and some AS5 from OCUK. Guess which arrived first ;)

Just like to add my praise for OC to this thread, I recently bought my new pc components and they were with me the next day - well packaged.

Great service, thanks

funny, when I posted a message about bad slow service from OcUK they deleted my message.
Funny confusing, funny peeved off, or funny haha 'cause you didn't bother to read the rules?

One of the mods mentioned in the 'New Website' forum that we could talk shop and ask questions about the shop on these forums. Don't remember who though.

whats the quickest i would get my mobo replaced? rang this morning and tried what was suggested. Still no luck, i will be sending on monday.
Speaking from personal experiance of 2 motherboards over last 5 years - within 5 working days for both - I guess this depends how many RMA's the tech's have to go through etc.

The delivery and sales are top notch

The RMA still lives a bitter taste in my mouth from the previous disasters i felt really used and abused by overclockers. I still spend my money at ocuk but i end up very worried about the end result.

Should a customer feel this way?
