Have they ran out of these or are they looking into the panel usage? There has been discusions questioning the P-MVA technology and whether it's present or not in the versions available to UK markets.

Some even stated in the official thread for this monitor that the box states "/05" - meaning 16ms 'old' technology then the panel itself is stamped with version "/00" which means it is in fact the newer 8ms version.

Any clarification would be very useful as I'm looking at getting myself one of these and would like to know what I'd be getting and when I'm likely to see that lovely "in stock" text next to it again.....

This now poses another question

Phillips 200W6CS

--or--

Belinea 102035W

--or--

Viewsonic VA2012W (Which I'm personally leaning AWAY from atm)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which do I get - the phillips does seem best from what I'm reading on this site and others but I'm not a patient man and my house sale goes through today so I would ideally like to be pressing the proceed to checkout button sooner rather than later

The 00 and 05 simply means whether it is for Europe (continental) or the UK. The new versions of the 200w6 are all meant to be 8ms, but nobody fully knows the panel.

Hi there

All the OcUK ones are 8ms as we specifically specify it.

However its proven very popular and all the stock is now sold, we have more due February 15-18th. :)

EDIT: Just had some more come in, so back in stock whilst they last!!

as has been said above, while Philips's spec sheets suggest the 00 and 05 editions are different, they have assured us, as have OcUK, that all UK stock are now the 8ms panel now.

Done and done!!!

Bought the bugger - along with about £1150 worth of other goodies - Did say 1-3 days tho

I will hope and pray it all comes Tuesday - Wednesday latest!

I'm looking forward to it now!!!
