I have this mointor and the question I have concerns using one monitor between two computers.

The monitor has a d sub and dvi connection. Is it possible to connect the d sub and dvi to 2 different computers and switch between them or do I have to go the kvm switch route? I reckon it's the kvm route but just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else has done this before.

you can connect 2 computers to it one on vga nad one on the dvi

but it will not switch your keyboard/mouse like a kvm, it's only a video switch

also you have to press about 5 monitor buttons to switch via the on-screen menu, there is no direct button to switch

but it does work

I already have a keyboard and mouse on both machines so that's no problem. I will give this a shot tonight.
