Can anyone confirm if this TV actually is a 1080P or just 1080i screen. Originally I am sure that Philips just said 1080i however everywhere seems to be advertising it as a 1080P screen now including philips website.

The tv will only accept 1080i there is a big thread on this tv in the av forums

from what ive seen theres 2 versions one 1080i and another 1080p
