Philips 49PUS6401 49 4K

Hey guys

Just need some opinions on the 4k TV in the title....

Ive just bought a house and i am planning on getting the Philips 4k tv for my living room, its the right size for the room and i can get it for around £480

Its my first 4k tv so ive no exp with purchasing them

My motivation behind purchasing this particular TV is the price, is there much difference between this model and the other big manufacturers? Panasonic, Sony and Samsung?

After furnishing the house id love a sneaky £200 saving as the big 3 retail around £700

Interested in people's opinion on this too. It doesn't seem to do so well in professional reviews but seems highly rated by consumers.

i got the philips 43pus6401 version, the picture quality is amazing and as a lot of features like 4:4:4, hdr, Ambilight + hue, etc. as no software issue unlike the my previous one (Philips 40put6400).

i recommend the philips XXpus6401, more so as it's on sale at the moment.

you can get the 49PUS6401 for £479 from argos at the moment and the 43PUS6401 for £379

Had this tv a while now and must say im impressed with it for the price, software could be better but they are upgrading sporadically so it should be 100% in time

Stepdad has the 43 inch version, The picture is decent after a few tweaks only problem is the software hes had a load of issues with it mainly net.browser has stopped working and it turned its self off a few times, got in contact with philips and they sent me a download link to software that they say resolves the issues got to try it in the next few days when i get around to it.
