I just got the above TV and am very happy with it apart from one issue that I can't sort.
Because my HT amp is not 4k capable, I'm connecting devices directly to the TV and using ARC to drive the amp. This was working fine until Saturday morning when all of a sudden ARC stopped working. No sound output whatsoever. TV speakers worked fine though.
In the end I did a factory reset on the TV and ARC started working again. It continued working until last night when I switched the TV input to my Sky HD box and ARC dropped out again. The only way I could get it back was to do a factory reset on the TV again.
Called Philips this morning and was told to do a factory reset......... Told them I'd done that so they then blamed my amp for not being 4k capable, even though it's nowhere near the video stream.
As a stop gap I've connected the TV's optical output to the amp but there is a delay on the audio and my amp can't time shift audio on the optical inputs.
The amp is an Onkyo TX-SR608 by the way.

I have considered connecting devices old-school to the amp via optical directly, but then I realised that my Apple TV 4k doesn't have an optical output.......

I really don't want to have to drop another £500 on a new AV amp.....

Any ideas?

I have the same TV and I use the Amazon Fire TV 4k remote to control it and the amp and 99/100 it works but sometimes, ARC just don't work and but it always work again if I either unplug the TV or the amp from the wall. I have a Sony Amp.

It's more an issue at the start when i got it 9 months ago, less so now I stopped tinkering it, there must be some bug in it that if you press certain button it triggers the fault as it hasn't happened in ages.

I found that to fix it, without a restart is to play with the output of the audio to the HDMI/Home Theatre, sometimes that fixes it.

I have a non oled version and get the same issue. 99/100 it's fine then seemingly randomly ARC stops working. Switch off at the plug resolves it.

Off topic but how do you tow find the picture quality on the oled? How does it handle fast moving images and what is the interface like?
