Philips Ambilight TV - Not remembering Regional settings

I have a Philips 49" Ambilight TV that I bought earlier this year, but approximately every 2nd or 3rd time we turn the TV on from standby it asks us to input our region again.

Sometimes it remembers the region, then forgets it and asks us to input it again. It always seems to be whenever we turn the TV onto digital TV channels it happens as it must need to know what local channels to pull down, but why doesn't it remember the setting?

Anyone else had such an issue?

Hi I have exactly the same problem that you are talking about, did you find a solution to this problem because as you will know this is really annoying.

I also have the same issue....

I live on border of two county's not sure if that's issue...

Parents had this issue with theirs (among other annoying niggles that couldn't be resolved). Got it replaced in the end for their newer model and has been very good since then. Get on to Philips or whoever you bought it from.
