philips DTRID200 freeview box wont output video!!!

hey guys, jsut bought my self a philips DTRID200 today but for some stupid reason it will only display video if i conenct it up directly to my tv using the scart cable thats included in the box. if i use any other kind of cable such as a scart to composite cable etc so i can have it going through my amp, or even directly into my tv's composite connector it wont display anythin

whats goin off???

ive tried changing the video output from RGB to the other 2 settings (s-video and CVBS)

can anyone help me out??

got the problem sorted. it was the cables i was using. they were only composite to scart where as i needed a scart to composite

works great now
