Philips Fidelio X2

300ish or so. Drop to 250 by xmas.

180 is very optimistic. That's not far off the price of the x1's..

I paid £140 brand new for my x1 which is why for a slightly improved model I'd pay £180 max. Otherwise I'll keep the x1

You're not thinking logically though. The x2 will be Phillips flagship headphone. They would be daft to market these anywhere near 180. They know people will pay for these based on the sales of the x1. Many with the x1 will upgrade, as that is the nature of the hi-fi world. Spend hundreds/thousands for minimal improvement in performance.

They will be closer to 300 then 200.

which is I won't be upgrading I stand by my original post they will need to be <£180 to make me upgrade from my X1

therefore I'm out (Duncan Bannatyne)

Depending on reviews and price I might even sell x1 and get these. That's how much am loving the x1.
But they needs to be very noticeable changes not just looks am after.

I'll wait for proper reviews as well with someone who owns the x1 and a few other decent headphones like akg, sennheiser, etc.

There is no way I'm selling the x1 if the only difference is the pads.
