Evening All. Does anybody own these Headphones or Heard them they seem to be what im looking for in an headphone by the reviews. Are they worth a punt and what is the difference between the X2/00 and X2/HR there is a big difference in price. Many thanks

The X2/00 are warehouse deals and the X2/HR is the same model after they corrected some channel imbalance problems.
Thing is, the channel imbalance problems were cured months ago but once a model gets a bad reputation it tends to stick.
So the answer is, make a minor change to the model name and they start selling again. :D

ps. people have done side by side listening tests, there is no difference.

For what kind use you're looking headphones?
If for gaming are you looking for maximum competitiveness in distinguishing foot steps or more balanced sound with some strength in bass?

Home use Really with maybe the option to be portable around the House. My Genre is House Music so decent Bass not over powering i do like 80's Soul and Disco so decent Vocals would be good to. Won't be used for no Gaming. Thing is im in Hull and its Hard to get to test a lot of Headphones with our R/S having very limited stock so im left on Reviews which isn't easy lol.

Owned them twice believe it or not. Don't own them anymore. Bass is too tubby for me and they cannot hold a candle to my HD650's, even with dance music.

I can’t say on the x2 but I had the x1 they sounded really good. Although they were heavy on the head I didn’t particularly like wearing them and there not something I’d want to wear walking about in the home. I did end up selling them.

I own the X2, I am far from an audiophile, I enjoyed the lively sound and very comfortable. My main grief is with the detachable ear pads, if you remove - it is at your own risk - they are held on by very flimsy plastic hooks. I have had to resort to gluing to ensure that that the ear pad does not drop off. I personally do not expect this from £200+ headphones.
