Opinions on Philips hue lighting

Planning on purchasing hue strip lights and a few other bulbs. Any alternatives which aren’t as expensive?

I've got lots of hue bulbs (22) so I'd recommend them.

I have seen lifx around too but they aren't cheap.

You have Hue sync for windows 10 and ScreenBloom for windows 7, You will also need a Hue bridge 2.

Hue bulbs are over priced. Get some Innr bulbs. 3 colour bulbs for £60.

I've always wanted to use some Hue behind my monitors - seen a few projects where you can sync it up with whats on your monitor
