Has anyone got a 42 inch 1080p, model of this make, i have been into my local store, and seen a 42PFL7962 and it looks pretty amazing, any thoughts would be helpfull

You've not asked anything specific to gaming though? Probs better to ask this in Home Cinema & HiFi.

At the end of the day, a persons judgment of a television is made mostly by personal preference. If you liked it in store the odds are its a good choice for you.
