Philips OneBlade?

Funny enough, I'm waiting for delivery of one I ordered a few days ago.

Like you I always read mixed reviews, but bit the bullet at £18 to give it a try.

Absolutely love mine also. Had it a year now and not changed the blade. How often are you supposed to change the blade?

I have one. Great for beard trimming/keeping stubble in check, but don't expect a close shave from it - I still prefer a wet shave with a DE razor for that

Had one for 2 or 3 years. Never changed the blade. But I use it very infrequently. It is OK but if you want to leave a bit of length "accurately" then you're better off with a Wahl beard trimmer IMO.

I had one (or similar version at least) and after about a year it broke. It wasn't used regularly either.

Yeh mine is great but like others have said - don’t expect a close shave or even close to it - will leave plenty of stubble
This. And don't expect to use it like proper hair clippers for lots of longer hair, it'll choke up.

Useful for a tidy up and trimming prior to close shaving with a razor.

^^ this is about the only use case it has for me.

I've had one for a number of years and really liked it as it gave me a close enough shave without being down to the skin. Tempted to buy another as they're such good value for money

It's great for just hacking down the beard a bit. I've only changed the blade head once when I dropped it and one of the tabs snapped off, otherwise I'd probably be on the same one.

I use mine for shaving most of the time now, gets close enough for me. So much quicker and easier than wet shaving too, and I've been a DE fan for ages.
