I've got 2 PCs that I want to use with 1 monitor (Phillips 200W6CS). One PC has a bog standard graphics card (vga) and the other has an ATI X1900XTX (dvi). I am also using asaitek usb keyboard and the logitech G5 usb mouse.

I have got hold of a belkin F1D102U Omniview 2 Port KVM (USB) which I use to hook all the bits together. The problem I have is that the connection from the kvm is vga and when I attach it to my monitor it works but the text is all blurry. As soon as I put my dvi cable back in from the monitor to the pc everythings fine.

Has anyone else came across this problem? I don't really want to buy a dvi kvm as I only have one pc with dvi. I thought about getting a vga to dvi cable to connect from the kvm to the monitor but the monitor connection is dvi-d only.

Help, as always, much appreciated.

Got it all working now but the monitor wont work at 1680 x 1050 resolution. Is this a vga problem? I can change the resolution to 1600 x 1200 and it all looks fine apart from some blurring on text. Is this going to be the price I have to pay using this belkin kvm?

Sod it!! Can't get it to work properly and no-one seems to be able to help so I've removed the kvm until I've done some more research.
