Phillips 32M2N8900/00 Oled

Recently purchased one of these, to replace a mini led Samsung, and colour me impressed, seems to be a great monitor, but doesnt seem to be talked about much, any reason why?

Philips have always been a bit in the background in the monitor space for some reason, I think because during the rise of gaming monitors, etc. they didn't have much presence outside of professional and some business applications. I've had a few Philips over the years - got a Philips 436M6 currently and they've always been decent though 1-2 little things I wish they'd done better i.e. the 436 if the pixel layout had been RGB and it could have done at least 100Hz it would have been a terrific monitor rather than just a good one.

I mean, I have the Alienware 32" Curved Oled, and I like this phillips one more, and it was like £300 less, its insane for the money, has more connectivity, etc, so pleased, just feels like they have been slept on a little

Better it stays that way, Philips and AOC have had the best prices for OLED's in the last year or so, forcing MSI/Asus/Gigabyte to drop prices in some size categories or at least have timed offers.

Looks like they all use the same panel tech etc. However seems that Philips dont spend as much marketing it - influencers etc. The few reviews I have seen have been great for it.

I've got a Phillips 32M2N6800M/00 which is their mini-LED 32". It's barebones (no speakers, no USB-C or PWM), but it was quite a bit cheaper than nearest competing models. It's a very nice display that looks great in HDR games and works superbly for productivity (which I do 30/70 so no OLED for me). Out-of-the-box calibration was very good, and it even came with a calibration and panel test report. OSD menu is a bit cludgy, but it works.

Like Azrael states, they're panels are the same as other brands.

If price was similar then I would go Asus due to the custom heatsink or gigabyte for the UK warranty
