Phillips E-Line 227E Display doesn't fit!

I just got this monitor a few days ago and testing it out I cant seem to get 1920x1080 to fit! There is black bars outlining it. The only resolution that I can get to fit is 1650x1080. It is like the monitor won't adjust to the resolution. I have checked the menu and the screen is set to widescreen. I have searched the web and can't seem to find anything on it. Any ideas? Cheers.

You have a Radeon 6950? Look for 'Scaling Options' (Under 'My Digital Flat Panels') in Catalyst Control Centre (CCC) and make sure it is set to fully 'overscan' and not underscan.
