Not much is ever said about Phobya around here... Perhaps because its not available from OCUK? I've been running 2 of their G-Changer 240 rads for a while now (thick rads with low fpi) with absolutely no issues but now I'm looking at a new build I thought I'd ask about the general thoughts here before I drop £200 on 2 480s from them...

I did look at the Monsta rads bud I remember reading all sorts of horror stories a while ago... Have they got any better? Are they worth the £30 odd more than the Phobya's?

Thoughts appreciated!

The Coolgate rads are also very good. I have a CG360 and a G2 360 and they are very good quality and come with a assortment of screws, blanking plugs plus rubber gaskets for the fans. Performance is excellent with the CG360 outperforming the Thermochill PA120.3 with fan's of 1000rpm and under. The CG480 is also on this week only at the moment.

Coolgate are the performance arm of Magicool. For the prices they are hard to beat and they always do well in reviews. The extra's such as the fan gaskets are a nice touch too.

Using a Phobya 400mm here with two Silverstone AP181's. Absolute monster of a rad, keeps my 3770K and GTX 980 nice and cool

Seems to compare quite well to having two 360's. The only downside is having to mount it externally as it's far to big to fit inside most cases.

Lol Pasty, that post in the other thread on commission is hitting hard in here too :D

Wish I did get commission on stuff I recommend. I just really like them. For the price and the accessories you get they are hard to beat. My G2 replaced my Thermochill PA120.3 and the build quality is better too.

Using a Phobya 560mm Rad here as far as l'm concerned mounting a rad externally pays dividends no downsides, easier to build and service, better temps and cheaper all round.:)
