I've currently got the Sony z3c and some old sony walkman headphones that support noise-cancelling. Just wondering if there's any other phone/headphone combos which support this without resorting to the £200 bose quitecomfort 20.

I think sony has built in circuitry to the z3c which means their cheaper headphones can support this feature like the MDR-NC750 at £38.

yeah I have an older version of those headphones and they work pretty well with NC on the tube. Was thinking of changing phones soon but didn't realize that most of the other ones didn't have NC tech built in.

This is one of the aspects I miss about that era of Sony phone tbh, you're right in that options are indeed - slim. Would you be willing to goto full size cans? Monoprice have a pair a workmate uses (through UK amazon) that seems reasonable but its no IEM :( Audio technica make a pair iirc but can't find another i know who uses them.

yeah the z3c is getting a bit battered now. Just a shame there's no new designed compact coming out from Sony. Might wait until Sept and see what the new iphone is like.
