Phone is locked...

Hi, this is my brother's account and I'm just doing a quick post as I seem to have locked his phone.

I put his phone on and it asked for the pin, and I thought I new what it was, but obviously I didn't as I guessed it wrong a few times so it asked me for the PUK. I phones up customer sevices for him and they asked for the original pin, however he doesn't even know it. What can be done to resolve this? Would they sort this out for me at the Orange shop?

I don't have much experience with phones, I only just purchased my first one a week ago.

Any help much appreciated.
 
They didn't ask you for the original PIN. They would have asked you for the pin code he gave when he set up the pay as you go account with Orange, which is entirely different from the phone pin.

If the phone is in your brother's name, he'd need to call to get the PUK code as he'd have to confirm some security details.
 
or if hes got an account with orange online login there and select the request a SIM unblocking (PUK1) code option
