Phone line upgrades - Advice needed

I know where the obvious place to go to. But is there any sites that have information on phone line upgrades and when they are likely to be upgraded?

If not I will try and contact BT and see. Searched their site but could not find any information on this.

Sorry should have been more clear. To do with broadband line strength. Example - Can it support 1mb, 2mb, 8mb etc.

I was wondering when they were going to upgrade my line strength so I can upgrade. Just wondering if there was any information out there.

If its BT based not until 21CN roles into town across the UK around 2010.

Like I said if your ISP is BT based then yes, if its LLU based then maybe not.

LLU is only related to the exchange level and by passing the BT core network, 21CN is only about exchange level and higher upgrades and will not involve upgrades to the last mile the cables that run from your house to the exchange.

I am not aware of anyway to get info as to BT doing upgrade work on the last mile cabling.
