Phone number 00114

I was away from my desk at work earlier and when I returned I had a missed call that was listed as being from:

00114

This looked like a bit of an error, so I ignored it.
However I managed to miss yet another call from the same number later.

Somebody I work with just happened to be chatting to me about phone calls and it turns out he returned from shopping yesterday evening to a missed call from the same number.
Google doesn't seem to have anything to say on such a phone number.
Has anyone else had a call from this number...any ideas who it is?

maybe it was an internal line? I know all our internal calls here come through as funny numbers

Most likely a US number...

00 denotes foreign (although we've seen a local area code come in as 00191 for some reason)
114 is 1-14 so US...
