Phone playing up when connected to PC

Samsung phone which has worked fine until recently.

If I connect it to any of the mobo usb slots it works fine. If i connect to the USB 2.0 slot on my case, it works fine.
If I connect it to the USB 3.0 slot on my case it keeps making a device disconnected sound over and over again.

Nothing wrong with the USB port as USB sticks, xbox controllers and other phones work fine in the USB 3.0 slot. Any ideas ?

well that the USB 3 slot for some reason is loose for your phone but not the other items.. would trying a different lead help?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried another lead but same problem, really odd.

Very strange.
I have recently changed my case to a brand new Meshify.

It seems to do the same thing on the front two USB 3.0 ports, the ones on the back work fine though. Really odd.

Try reseating the usb 3 header on the motherboard
