I have a 64Gb Sandstone OnePlus One running Lineage OS which I bought from here about a year ago second hand.

Love the phone, it works well and have never had a problem with it, was running a Vodafone work SIM in it for ages meaning I never had 4G, but on Three now and 4G is surprisingly prevalent around my rural area (which is nice)

But I noticed on eBay mint boxed examples of my phone are selling for about what I paid for it 12 months ago, so I could sell it for perhaps no loss, £120 maybe?

The Xiaomi phones are interesting to me, Redmi Note 4X and ones around that range.
My main query is how much of an upgrade would it be? I'm not a power user but enjoy long battery life and a decent screen, and the Xiaomi phones have a 25% bigger battery and the screen on the 4X looks comparable. I'm hoping a 3 year newer CPU might sip the power more efficiently, and the camera might be better, although I don't think I've noticed anything poor with the OPO camera?

What would you do OcUK?

Any advice, looking to buy soon, got a bit caught up in the OnePlus5 hype, never planned to buy one but it has got my wallet tingling to buy something new!

Depends on what you're looking for in a phone. The Lenovo P2 has good battery life thanks to the huge battery, and the screen is pretty decent too. Specs are mid end (SD625, 3/4GB RAM depending on variant) but it's more than enough for the average user.

Thanks for the recommendation, would there be a noticeable speed increase, coming from a user who doesn't feel their current phone is slow at all?

I upgraded from a oneplus one to a motoz. Last years chip (sd820) but tbh i only paid 299 for it and couldnt be happier
