Hi guys,

I've been looking at the Samsung F700, with the slide out keyboard as I am really keen on getting one with that feature. Read some good reviews on it and some pretty dire ones. Just wondered if the keyboard is a bit of a gimmick, rather than an actual useful addition. Also heard receiving/ending calls is a bit of a pain because you have to unlock the phone all the time? Is it really that big of a deal, is it not just a switch at the top?

Be grateful for any experiences with the phone or any other recommendations.

I'm on my second qwerty phone.

First was the XDA Mini S (HTC Wizard), and I currently have an Orange SPV E650 (HTC S710)

I could never go back to a non-qwerty phone now, texting is SO much easier.

As for the screen locking, that doesnt affect answering/ending calls, as the green/red call buttons become active on an incoming call.

As for recommendations, I'm waiting for the Sony Xperia X1 or HTC Raphael to be released later in the year :)
