Phorm! Why would you opt in?

I've just been reading about Phorm on BBC News and all the stuff around it with major ISP's (such as BT / Virgin Media / Talk Talk) saying that users can opt in.

I can understand that, if used, the ISP will make millions. However what will the user get other than annoyed?

I've read all the questions and answers but just don't get why anyone would opt in without being given major incentives which I can't see them doing.

I would opt in if got me a reduction in cost. It would have to be a decent deduction though as it would mean I would have to stop looking up my goat/horse porn etc...

My other half and I surf using the same account. I don't want her bombarded with ads for pr0n and penis enlargements.

Ye, I don't want my sister and parents to have ads for pr0n everywhere :D
