I'm thinking of getting a large panoramic canvas printed however I'm not 100% happy with the picture and my photo shop skills are pretty poor and I thought perhaps someone on here could help? I think with some subtle tweaking it could be greatly improved.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

Thanks all.

Taken on a d7000 with a 50mm f1.4 exif will probably missing as its several shots merged with PTGui. I need to check as to what this software outputs, I'm not sure I can emerge raws in it?

The sky is not the best and the green of the trees distracts from the building. But I though with some careful tweaking it would be greatly improved.

Thanks Cosmo and gaffer, I will have a proper look when I'm back on a proper computer.

OVER COOKED HDR tick FAKE SKY tick how to ruin any photo is three or four mouse clicks!

Genoma I really like your take on it nice pop but not too fake and the colours still feel reasonably authentic, Florence is beautiful and the view from Micheal Angelo Plazza stunning I think the OP needed to visit at sunset and bring a wider angle!

divuk if you can post the RAWs I'll stitch them for you and post process as above if you are thinking of printing.

I think TUGs version is the best so far. The only thing I'd do with that now is maybe add a layer over the mountains and sky to try and get a bit more detail/colour. Not an easy task as the sky is blown and the mist/haze has eaten most detail there. The clouds look like an old oil painting.

Also, those HDR attempts are everything that is wrong with HDR. Not being mean, but they truly are horrid.

Thanks very much, I really like your edits, particularly the second one. Annoyingly after converting the RAW's to jpeg to create the panorama I think I must have deleted the raws as I can't find the original files anywhere. I have printed decent canvas prints of 6mp jpegs before and they looked great so I should get away with the jpeg this time, not that I have much choice!

Cheers
