Hi,

Hopefully this request isn't a problem, as I know some of you out there are pretty handy at editing photo's.

My dad passed away in late 2011, he suffered from a bout of severe depression, and took his own life. Now I don't wish to go in to much detail, but I wouldn't wish this upon anyone, not a day goes past that I don't think about him. He was never one for photo's and this is the best one I have of him, with my two younger sisters. I'd like to use this one on his stone.

I'm not very good at this, and just want it be right.

I would like an oval crop, and then just him in the picture. Would this be possible? I guess it would need some photoshop work. Would be great appreciated.

Picture is here - http://oi40.tinypic.com/wvyg5u.jpg

I don't mind if there posted on here, but my email is carlmalik AT gmail.com if you want to email them.

Thanks, Carl

Sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately I'd say its a difficult photo to have just him cropped without it looking like either a passport photo headshot or that half his body is missing because somebody else is clearly there.

Hi Carl,

Sorry for your loss. Please see my spoiler tag, is this something you are looking for? When you say, just your Dad on his own, did you have in mind editing out the other people? As Nexus says, it's pretty difficult with the composition of this photograph to get just an individual without it being very enlarged to a headshot. The image shows the main focus as your Dad, but please let me know if anything else is in mind.

Thank you very much.

What I was after was just my dad in the picture, and my sister's edited out.

And the final result being in a oval for printing.

I guess I am asking the almost impossible but it's worth a go!

Carl

Sorry for your loss,
I had to rush this but could refine it if it is close

That's exactly what I'm after!

You could even zoom in a bit on his face if it make's it easier?

Refine would be great, then I can send it for printing :)

Thank you so much everyone. Great community here. :)

Really happy with these! Can't thank you enough!
