Photo Organiser

Hi !

does anyone know of any decent photo organises that allows you to search by person ( by facial recognition ) or location? the Photos app within Windows 11 is ok, but the searching by metadata is very limited. All of my photos are on a NAS drive and not interested in cloud offerings. I would like the app to be similar to the iOS Photos app if possible.

on a side note... does anyone know who i can contact to recover my old Overclockers forum account? I signed up around the year 2005 using a work email address that I no longer have access to, so i am unable to reset the password. I tried the contact us section on the forum a few months ago, but no response.

Oh I don't know actually - I know it's not helpful, I've tried ACDSee, Adobe Bridge, Synology Photostation, Google Photos etc - none of them are perfect.

Currently using Synology Photos which is ok I guess - not perfect, but good enough....! Does everything you're describing - maybe it's me! Wish someone would create a decent one without silly subscription models....
