This thread may be a good idea or it may fall flat, we'll have to see!


I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good techniques for turning RAWs into gritty black and whites, similar to the old Ilford 3200 film (loved that film!).

Then I thought, why not make a thread for people to post interesting techniques they use or find tutorials of and people posting requests for techniques as well.


So, to start off...can anyone recommend a good conversion technique for turning RAW files into gritty black and whites?
