Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of piecing together an animated stormy sky for the opening of a short film I'll be directing in April. The opening calls for the camera to fly out of a window, revealing a very animated stormy sky. I've done a few tests and I'm confident that I can create a very nice looking computer generated sky.

What I'm asking for is photographs owned by you good people, that you wouldn't mind me cutting up and animating to be part of my film. Of course, full credit will be given when it's finally complete and I'll be working on it for a few months

What I'm after is, as titled, pictures of dramatic clouds, lighting and the Hemel Hempstead fire (as I recall, there were some SPECTACULAR photographs taken by members of this forum which have very vivid backlighting).

If anyone wants any more information before posting, please feel free to ask. I'm eternally grateful for any replies!

Hmm, as for clouds, I may have some, not sure they're dramatic enough,

But here they are from my ImageShack account:

Some of the first photos I ever took back in March/April 2005 :)

I hope these are of use to you!

edit: Just realised the links didn't work.

I've got the full high res version if you want it

Some of these are fantastic and just what I was looking fore, for both reference and editing. Thank you VERY much to everyone who has posted ... after some discussion with the co-director I'll post what we're going to use.
