Photo Retouch Help

Here's a picture of some flowers I took yesterday, using an Olympus C-350.

The picture looks dull. Can someone please photoshop this and make it look more vibrant? I want the reds to really stand out.



I've tried altering the colour curves, but I'm not sure what I'm doing exactly.

(Hoping to buy a digital slr so I can take some amazing photos )

The thing I hate about my digital camera is that without flash, the picture goes blurry unless you hold it really still. My camera automatically does this: long exposure in low light. I just wish there was a manual setting for exposure times. I really need a digital SLR!!!
