Photo software

I would like some advice

I am looking to buy some software to edit my photo`s i take with my digital camera , i am not sure what software to use

I am looking at the following

PhotoShop CS
PhotoShop 7 or 8
Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0

I am what something thats easy to use

Thanks people , my brother is going to lend me Photoshop CS but he cannot find the manual , and i might also buy Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 as its around £27 from ebay , thats the full version , any plans for Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 before i buy ?
