Photo Sorting App

At the end of the year I like to make a backup of the mobile phone photos. On the OH phone there's a lot of photos of documents screengrabs etc that I like to move out of the main photo galleries.

Anyone use an app that can do that?

I know there are AI apps to tag every photo of uncle Bob etc. Lightroom etc. But tbh that is not something I ever need to do. I want to separate utility photos from photos of people and scenery and places.

What type of phone ? Off the top of my head, you could in theory use the phone to do the initial sorting and then save out from there. For example, on an iPhone you could use the search box to find all landscapes on the phone first, then select them all, and then airdrop over to the backup computer into a landscapes folder.

Whilst that works well on a iPhone <> Mac computer setup, it may be possible to do similar on and android / windows / whatever .

iPhone and android for that matter.

Just want to run a backup off any phone and seperate out all the pictures of documents and things from people. I've done it manually now.

I found something that works. Perhaps not perfectly but maybe good enough. Excire.
I installed a standalone trial version though its available as plugin for Lightroom. But I don't use that.
I installed on my AMD gaming Laptop and the M1 MacBook air. The local AI processing is meant to be CPU intensive.
With a demo folder of about 9000 photos it took a while. Seemed a little quicker on the mac. Didn't time it though.

Pricey though.
