Photocopier issue

Hi Folks
New here, first post. Old duffer so excuse ignorance!
I have an old Rex-Rotary 8913Z photocopier with progressively poor results There are black bands across the width of the copy and I don't know the cause. I have a photo on my computer but can't find a means to attach it to this post. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Are you able to print any form of internal self test page from the machine? You need to determine if the issue is with the actual scanner or the printing process.

Could be something as simple as needing a new toner or fuser unit.
