Photography annoyances!

Lookie loos. Especially ones that see you taking a long exposure and want to see the results. It never looks impressive in-camera anyway.

Filters. They are all cumbersome and fiddly. ND/IR viewfinder blackout.

Wind has got a few of my shots ruined. On a tripod up in the mountains taking photos of the football stadium in town. It vibrated the tripod which ruined the photo. I dunno what to do, if anything, that can stop that :(

What tripod are you using?

A good tripod will stand a fair amount of wind and are fairly dampened to reduce vibrations.

Cheap tripod vibrate if someone sneezes 10ft away..

Try a heavy rucksack suspended underneath, make sure you don't raise the top column just use the legs, if you have a 4 section tripod try to avoid using the thinnest bottom section.

Make sure VR is switched off ( a few of the exotic telephotos (600mm etc9, have an intelligent system to detect tripods and go into a different mode).

carbon fiber tripods for the win.

Need more weighing down though - that said, a bag and some handy rocks has always done the trick for me...

If I had to add one...the necessity of being on location before sunrise to get the best light for landscapes...I'm not so much a morning person, particularly this time of year...

Having to wipe the blood off my monopod head after I've beaten someones dog into a pulpy mess.

Only kidding :)

How about when the village idiot walks up to you and says "wot you doing?"

Erm I'm baking a cake. (I mean what do you think I'm doing?)
