Photography Competition #2 - "Time" - DISCUSSION

I've spent the entire month trying to find the subject of my idea but it looks like I am going to have to try something else as i can't find what I am looking for :(
 
Now I may be pointing out the bleeding obvious here, but when the category is time, is it such that:

A photo showing something changing over time, i.e wrack and ruin building
Changing of the seasons due to time?
A long exposure taking time to develop etc...

And of course.. taken between the period of the competition entry date and finish date?

On the right path here?

My interpretation would be any photo has an exposure time,m that is enough relevance to enter any photo you can ever think of, except a 100% pure black photo because that can be achieved without an exposure time.


Really, the themes were the big problem with the last competition, or I should say the theme combined with the time restriction. I had a good idea for the eyes competition but would have need to enter a photo forma few years ago.
 
I had several ideas.

I really wanted to find a large tree that had been cut down and get a nice DOF shot of the rings, lovely warm colours too.

Could not find it despite looking for weeks.

Second option were local ruins but just didn't have time to go :(

Good entries this month though :)
