Photoshop and printscreen

Photoshop problems, printscreen and text size

I am trying to paste a print screen into photoshop but there doesnt seem to be anything in the clip board.

I can paste into paint and other programs ok but photoshop isnt having any of it.

Also when I create text size 50px, its 1px high! Seems the scale is wrong somewhere. To get the text size looking rite i need a size of 3000pt atleast?!?!

Any ideas?

Just tried it, only way I could get it to do it was to actually create a new file. (If that's what you meant.

OK i found out how to reset photoshop (Hold shift, control and alt while startup).

This seemed to of fixed the problem, but I would still like to know what settings was set to cause it.
