Right, trying to remove the background from this picture but failing miserably

I gave up trying to do it it pixel-per-pixel lol (can you tell I don't have a clue about PS )

If anyone could remove the background from that picture that would be awesome

It's going to be (hopefully) scaled down and made into a sig...well that's the idea

I used to be part of a fiesta forum (can I link to it?).

People on there used to be amazing with the photo-chop and would virtually mod your car with anything you wanted to see how it would look.
