I've had a friend ask me to spec and build them a new computer. The most taxing thing it will probably run is Adobe elements, no gaming etc. The total budget is about £1500 for everything which gives about £1K for the tower once everything else is added in. They want something that will last a long time with relatively low maintenance and lots of USB ports, at least 6.
I've had a go at putting something together for them but would welcome any improvements.
